Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm travel the Multiverse in the latest amazing issue of the Fantas….errr…. Marvel Two-In-One #4. Human Torch and The Thing are losing their powers and the only way to strengthen them is to have a reunion with Reed and Sue Richards. Who are dead. But has that ever stopped someone before in the Marvel Universe?

Johnny and Ben are joined by Rachna, some super duper smart and sexy scientist. Using the Multisect device found in previous issues, Rachna hones right in on Reed and the trio depart for another Earth within the multiverse. When they arrive, Rachna goes off on her own agenda while Ben and Johnny go looking for Reed and Sue. It’s a very short search as they run right into SHIELD agents She-Hulk and Wolverine. They think Johnny and Ben are impersonators and are quite ready to take the two .

This issue is jam-packed and the fun, action, and adventure really starts at this point where She-Hulk and Wolvie are ready to throw down.  I will say I was pleasantly surprised with each and every subsequent page turn.   It gets really wild and out there, especially as you get to the last page. I love the adventures of these weakened heroes and how this search to bring the Fantastic Four back together once again takes our characters on an incredible cosmic journey.

Will the Fantastic Four actually return?  I do believe this is the point of Chip Zdarsky’s book but at this point I care little about the destination. That’s not to say I don’t want the Fantastic Four to return (because I very much do), but this book is so damn incredible that I’m just so sincerely loving the journey.   Zdarsky’s wit, humor, and charm really shines through on Two-In-One. Though I’m still trying to get over The Thing not getting a new co-star each issue, I am loving where this adventure is taking me.  Valerio Schiti’s artwork is superb making this book look gorgeous .  At this point I think it is very safe to say that MarvelTwo-In-One may be my favorite Marvel book currently published.
